What is included in dog boarding at Circle Lake Ranch?
Our boarding includes spacious indoor kennels, cozy bedding, fresh water, and plenty of outdoor playtime in our large, natural yards. We group dogs by size and temperament, and we never charge extra for individual attention, play sessions, or administering simple medications. All dogs receive daily exercise and loving care from our experienced staff.

What vaccinations does my dog need before boarding?
Rabies, DHPP/DHLPP (distemper/parvo), and Bordetella are required. Canine influenza is recommended but not required. Titers are accepted in place of vaccination where applicable, and proof of vaccination must be provided before arrival. The same requirements apply to puppies and senior dogs; medical exceptions may be accepted, subject to review.
Do you charge extra for playtime or meds?
No! At Circle Lake Ranch, playtime is included at no extra charge — we believe every dog deserves exercise and socialization. We also administer oral, topical, and eye and ear medications at no additional cost, multiple times per day when arranged in advance. Original labeled containers are not required. Insulin injections require advance reservation; other injectable medications are not administered.
What are your drop-off and pick-up hours?
Boarding drop-off and pick-up are available from 8:00 AM to 5:45 PM, seven days a week. There is no special checkout time after which another night is automatically charged, and we do not offer after-hours drop-off or pick-up. On Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve the office closes at noon; on the other major holidays the office is closed for drop-off and pick-up.
How much does dog grooming cost at Circle Lake Ranch?
Grooming prices vary by size and service type. Baths start at $25 for X-Small dogs and go up to $80 for XX-Large dogs. Full grooms range from $60-$120. All prices are estimates and may vary based on coat condition and behavior. Call (281) 395-4567 for a quote specific to your dog.
Do I need an appointment for grooming?
Yes, all grooming services are by appointment only. We recommend booking 1–2 weeks in advance, especially during peak seasons. You can also combine grooming with a boarding or daycare stay so your dog goes home fresh and clean.
Can my dog be groomed during a boarding stay?
Absolutely — many of our boarding guests get a bath or full groom the day before pickup so they head home looking and smelling great. Just request grooming when you reserve your dog's boarding stay and we'll schedule it during their visit.
